The WWE injury list, which has more depth lately than the active WWE roster, has a new addition.
According to a new PWInsider.com report, former WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio is dealing with lower back pain issues in recent weeks.
After switching the title back-and-forth going into the event, Del Rio finally dropped the WWE U.S. Title to Kalisto at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 24th. Since dropping the belt, Del Rio has yet to wrestle, as he did not work matches on RAW or SmackDown this week.
Del Rio is currently advertised for this weekend’s WWE live events in Chattanooga, Tennessee and Tupelo, Mississippi, however as always, those cards are subject to change, so he could always be pulled at the last minute if the injury is bad enough that he can’t work through it.
