WWE RAW General Manager took to social media this week to call out SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan for “raiding” the RAW roster, telling the former WWE Champion that he “messed with the wrong guy.”
“Dear Daniel,” wrote the WWE Hall Of Famer. “I am a James Ellsworth guy. But James Ellsworth is a #Raw guy – and now YOU have messed with the wrong guy!”
Foley continued, explaining how Bryan making such a move could “set a dangerous precedent.”
“By raiding Monday Night Raw for Superstars like James Ellsworth, you are setting a dangerous precedent, my friend,” added Foley. “More seriously, you risk confusing the #WWEUniverse, especially the little Ellsters out there, who have been waiting for me to sign #EllmoreVsStrohman2 for an upcoming #Raw PPV. Shame on you, Daniel…shame on you!”
From there, the “Hardcore Legend” went on to issue an invitation to Bryan and Mauro Ranallo to call the Cruiserweight matches on RAW, when WWE launches the new red brand exclusive division on Monday night.
“There is, however a way out of this situation,” wrote Foley. “How about if you and Mauro Ranallo come to Raw on Monday to call our #Cruiserweight matches on Raw?”
Foley concluded,”We’ll call it even and hope the Little Ellsters out there understand.”
WWE RAW goes down this Monday night, September 19th at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. Join us here on Monday evening for live results coverage of the show.
