WWE will be hosting WrestleMania in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana for the second time tomorrow. When the company last hosted the event in the Superdome back in 2014, they introduced the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal match. The match has now become a permanent fixture for the event and has been held at the show ever since it debuted four years ago. Given that WWE and HBO’s brand new documentary on “The Eighth Wonder of the World” will be premiering not long after WrestleMania ends, this year’s edition of the battle royal could perhaps the most important one out of all of the matches held so far.

A ton of members from the Raw and Smackdown rosters have all been confirmed to participate in the match, but a few more members have just been announced for the match by WWE. The company has just revealed that “The Drifter” Elias will be featured in the match this year, along with a returning R-Truth, and Titus O’Neil, Apollo Crews, Sin Cara, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, and Mike Kanellis. The 2014 edition of the match was won by Cesaro, and the match was won by The Big Show, Baron Corbin, and Mojo Rawley the following years. Including the participants just announced, 29 men from WWE’s roster have been confirmed for tomorrow’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
One of the matches taking place during WrestleMania tomorrow is a match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship between Asuka and Charlotte Flair. Asuka won the right to challenge Flair for her title after winning the women’s Royal Rumble match back in January, and given that Asuka’s undefeated streak will be on the line, all eyes will be on this match. Remember when Carmella attempted to cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Smackdown earlier this week? Well Flair and Carmella are advertised to face each other on several live events taking place after WrestleMania. This could indicate that a successful cash-in during the match at WrestleMania tomorrow may be forthcoming.
