There were few moves in the first regular-season USA Today/NWCA Division I Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.
The biggest move was made by Pittsburgh (3-0), which moved up three spots to No. 11 after beating then-No. 10 Edinboro 25-13 last week. They also picked up wins over Bloomsburg and Bucknell.
Virginia moved into the top ten. The Cavaliers (3-0) opened up with victories over VMI, George Mason and Division II Anderson University.
The top four teams, Iowa, Minnesota, Cornell and Ohio State have yet to wrestle a dual meet, but No. 5 Penn State opened up competition last week by defeating No. 15 Lehigh 24-10.
No. 7 Nebraska (1-0) stayed put after a 22-13 win at No. 25 Wyoming (0-1), while No. 12 Virginia Tech (1-0) opened up with a 41-9 win over Division II Newberry on November 8.
The Big Ten still dominates the team rankings, with four of the top five and six of the top 10 teams in the nation coming from the conference.
