TORRANCE, CA — A shooting at a bowling alley in Torrance late Friday left three people dead and injured four, according to police offiicals.
Police tweeted about the shooting shortly after midnight on Friday. In a press release, Torrance police said they responded to Gable House Bowl on Hawthorne Boulevard around 11:54 p.m. for a report of shots fired at the location.
Police said they found multiple people with gunshot wounds at the scene. Three men were pronounced dead at the scene and four others were injured. Two of the injured men were taken to a local hospital while the other two opted to seek their own medical treatment.
No employees at the bowling alley were injured in the shooting.

According to The Los Angeles Times, the shooting was apparently preceded by a fight.
Investigators are working to identify the suspects involved in the shooting.
Wes Hamad, a 29-year-old Torrance resident, was at the bowling alley with his 13-year-old niece and cousin when he saw a “huge fight” break out. Hamad told The Associated Press the brawl, which lasted about five minutes, blocked the entrance of Gable House Bowl and devolved into “complete chaos.”
“I grabbed my niece and started running toward the far end of the bowling alley,” he said. “As we were running, we heard 15 shots.”
As he was leaving, Hamad said he saw a woman weeping over a man who was had multiple gunshot wounds in his head and neck.
